the heart wants what the heart wants L, years down the road? I would imagine that each of us will regret not reaching out to the other in an effort to save what appears to be the end. being your fool is really something that I have volunteered for time after time. You have to know that doing so takes some thick ass skin, perseverance, and most of what I would a complete understanding of who you are, or shall i say who I thought you were. I have always looked at this as an investment in that if I give to it? over and over and keep trying? Then eventually it would pay off and at the very least I would have within and feel as if we had a solid foundation. Truth of the matter is I am less certain or shall I say Im not certain at all of what within your heart. For one thing it has yet to be expressed. What sticks in my mind is the last thrown punch and the belief in your mind that it cant ever work. Worst of all? You have me worn down to the point where I can do nothing more than agree with you. Its not that I cant overcome the hurt and regroup. God knows I can and have time after time. I hate the assumption that I will do it. i hate that I cant control what is deep within. And that is my heart still wants you. Perhaps I really dont know you anymore. When it comes to you? I dont know that I can still pull back all the layers of manipulation and reservation of affection. Which begs the question. WHICH ONE OF US IS REALLY THE FOOL? J
